Caddo Mills - Troy Gene Childers, age 67, of Caddo Mills, TX, went to his Heavenly home on March 21, 2026. He was born on November 02, 1958 to George and Maurine Childers of Farmersville, TX. Troy married the love of his life, Rebecca Franklin, on May 02, 1987, in Copeville, TX. He retired from the City of Farmersville with 28 years of service. He was a loving husband, who enjoyed fishing, camping and spending time with his family having fun.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his sisters, Gertrude Boykin, Margie Bond, Laura Perkins, Corra Gilmore, Edna Hill and Linda Ann Childers.

He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Franklin Childers, his brother, James Childers and wife, Sandra, of Savoy, TX, his nephew, Randy Boykin, of Cedar Creek, TX, his niece, Beverly Kibbe and husband, Berry and great nephew, Brandon Kibbe, and wife, Kerri, all of Greenville, TX.

Service is planned for April 10, 2026 at 1 pm at First Pentecostal Church of God, 2615 Walnut Street, Greenville, TX at 1 pm.
