Stella Lee Stevens, 84, passed away July 21, 2021, at Hunt Regional Medical Center in Greenville, surrounded by her family.

Visitation will be Monday, July 26, 2021 from 6 until 8 p.m. at R. W. Owens & Son Funeral Home in Wolfe City. Her graveside service will be at Webb Hill Cemetery in Wolfe City at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday July 27, 2021. Burial will follow the service at the cemetery.

She was born July 15, 1937 in Cedar Springs, Texas to Wynn Benjamin and Ethel Lee Alvey Batey. Stella attended Connley High School.

She enjoyed reading, taking care of her family and studying the Bible. On Dec. 7, 1953 she married Robert Howard Stevens in Waco.

She is survived by two sons and two daughters: Odis Lee Stevens and wife Terry, Bobbie Dodson, Robin Bolton, Robert Stevens and wife Paula. Brother, Wynnfred Benjamin Batey. Numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and several nephews and nieces.

Stella was preceded in death by her parents, three children Brenda, Glenda and David, her husband, sons-in-law Greg Dodson, Glen Bolton and grandson, David Dodson. Great grandson and great granddaughter, Michael Humphries and Avalee Dodson.

Pallbearers are Bobby Stevens, O. J. Stevens, Alan Stevens, Joshua Bolton, Adam Dodson, and Tyrone O'Brien. Honorary Pallbearer is Ray Harris.
