Commerce - Roy Spencer "Ferfy" Dawson was born Oct. 10, 1938.
He went home to be with the Lord and his daughter, Dana Dawson Ketner and many family members on April 29, 2025.
Roy is survived by wife of 65 years, Linda Dawson; Son, Daren Spencer Dawson and wife Veta; Grandchildren, Caleb Spencer Dawson, Kaylee Dawson Parise, Kaden Dawson and wife Kati; Great-grandchildren, Addi Richardson, Sam Fitzgerald, McKenna Dawson, Ellington and Jett Parise, Huxton and Emerson Dawson; Brother, Dennis Dawson and Sister, Jannie.
He retired from Hunt Co Prct 4 after 25 Years. He loved being outside and taking care of his cattle. He always had at least one that he bottle fed. His brother gave him a hard time about how many calves he bottle fed.
The family and close friends will have a private graveside memorial on Friday, May 16 with Benny Chaffin officiating.
