A funeral service for Robert Clifton Chastain, 71, of Emory will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 7, 2021 at the Emory Baptist Church. Interment will follow at the Emory City Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday, Feb. 6 at the Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel, 6-8 p.m.

Robert was born Sept. 12, 1949 to Joe Bob Chastain and Mary Bloodsworth Chastain in Greenville, Texas.

He passed on Feb. 4, 2021 in Sulphur Springs, Texas.

He married Marena Kay Chastain on May 31, 1969 in Point, Texas and they enjoyed 48 years before she passed in 2017. They had two sons, Robert Joel and Kurt Bradley.

He was a member of Point Church of Christ and was a retired captain of the City of Greenville Fire Department. He had several businesses to include Green Light Auto Parts Store, Robert's Automotive and Robert's Cycle and Sound.

He is survived by his sons, Joey Chastain and wife Wendy, Brad Chastain and wife Randa; grandchildren, Coltan Chastain; Makayla Chastain; Karlee Chastain, and Alli Chastain; sister, Betty Valentine; and a host of nieces and nephews; and his sister.

He was preceded in death by his wife and parents.

Arrangements are under the directions of Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home.
