Lonnie Dale Simmons Sr., 66, of Quinlan, Texas, passed away Sunday June 19, 2016.
Dale was born Feb. 17, 1950, in Greenville, Texas, to Lonnie Odell Simmons and Mavis Simmons (Grant).
A gathering of family and friends will be held in the Quinlan Funeral Home chapel Wednesday, June 22, from 12 to 1:30 p.m. Graveside service will follow at Memoryland Memorial Park in Greenville, Wednesday June 22, at 2 p.m. with Rev. David Hammond Officiating.
Those left to cherish his memories are his father, Lonnie Simmons; his mother, Mavis Grant (Simmons); children Dale Simmons Jr. and Clint Odel Simmons and wife Shellie; grandchildren Justyn Simmons and Aiden Simmons; and a sister, Brenda Arnold and husband Roger.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Claude and Opal Grant and Edgar and Lettie Simmons; his stepmother, Dorothy Simmons; and stepfather James Ryan.
