Morgantown, West Virginia - Linda Sue Richardson, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away
peacefully on May 12, 2026 in Greenville, Texas. Though her family's hearts are deeply broken, they find comfort in knowing she is now at peace and reunited with loved ones gone before her.
A celebration of Linda's life will be held at a later date in Morgantown, West Virginia. Coker-Mathews Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Linda was born on Oct. 9, 1946 to Herman Wayne Mullins and Edna Griffith Mullins. She
graduated from University High School in Morgantown, West Virginia as part of the Class of 1964. On April 24, 1965, she married Douglas Jackson "Jack" Richardson, beginning a beautiful marriage that lasted 61 years and was filled with unwavering love and devotion.
Linda worked in various positions throughout the medical field during her career and was a faithful member of Top Rail Cowboy Church. Alongside her husband, she proudly owned and operated Rippling Stream Campground in Baltimore, Ohio from 1995 to 2006.
She will always be remembered for her sweet spirit, caring heart and the love she gave so freely to everyone around her. She had a way of making people feel safe, welcomed and deeply loved, and her hugs were known to make even the hardest days feel lighter.
Linda is survived by her devoted husband, Jack Richardson; brothers, Elmer Mullins and Douglas Mullins; grandchildren, Bailey Rose Motes and Tucker Jackson Lester; great-grandchildren, Nolan Wayne Motes and Eleanor Sue Motes; and many other extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Rae Lynn Richardson; her parents, Herman and Edna; and her siblings, Bill, Delmer, Jack, E.J. and Helen.
