Greenville - Kelly Gaudreau was born on Feb. 25, 1970 at Baylor Hospital in Dallas, TX to Wayne Gaudreau and Eleanor Ann Hill Watson.


Kelly is survived by parents, Wayne Gaudreau and Eleanore Watson and husband, Skye; sisters Jana Burrus and husband, Bentley Burrus; Kristin Hanes and husband, Bill Hanes; sisters Connie Gaudreau, Tracey Rothwell, Lori and husband, Kevin Snowden; Amy Hicks and husband, Justin Henry; and brothers, Tim and Allen. He is also survived by nieces Hannah, Molly, Ellie, Emily, Allie, Courtney, Lily and Serenity, nephews Cade, Max, Ben, Brooks and Bentley.


He was preceded in death by his sister, Valerie Gaudreau; step-mother, Anita Gaudreau; grandparents, Louis and Ruby Gaudreau, Frosty and Myrtie Hill and aunt, Jan Tucker.


Over the years, Kelly had many jobs, which became an inside joke among his friends. He began his career at Southwest Airlines, first working in the mailroom responsible for delivering the mail to the executive offices, including Herb Kelleher and Colleen Barrett. He later transferred to the ramp and, finally, to a flight attendant. Kelly also worked in pharmaceutical sales, Young Life, YMCA, Young Life (#2), as an insurance adjuster, Young Life (#3), and finally as a project manager.


Kelly prided himself on successfully cramming four years of college into 12 years. He graduated from East Texas A&M in May 2000.

Honorary Pallbearers: Steve Arze, James Woodruff, Tim Stainback, Mike Crouse and Larry Baker.


Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 18 at noon at Lakepointe Church in Rockwall. Visitation will follow the service until 2 p.m. at the church.


Coker-Mathews Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.


In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you kindly donate to Kelly's foundation, "Hope Bags 14:14." Kelly began this ministry for adults and children undergoing cancer treatment throughout their journey. He leaves behind this legacy and his wishes were to continue to grow this ministry across the world.
