John Gordon Adair Obituary
John Gordon Adair passed away peacefully at the age of 74 on October 19, 2021 after a lengthy illness. John was born in Lagos, Nigeria to parents J.B. and Desser Adair who were serving in Africa as Baptist Missionaries at the time. John returned with his parents and brother, James Kenneth (Ken), on April 19, 1948. He grew up in and around Waco, Texas, graduating from Waco High School in 1965. John taught at various schools, ending up at Lone Oak ISD.
John was preceded in death by his parents J.B. Adair and Desser Jewel Whisenhunt Adair and his brother, Ken, in 2014. John leaves behind no known family.
