Peoria, Arizona - Jerry Wayne Rosenbalm Obituary

Jerry Wayne Rosenbalm, of Peoria Arizona, passed away peacefully at home on June 26, 2025. He was born on June 13, 1940, in Greenville, Texas, the son of Ross Lee and Bunea Rosenbalm.

Jerry enlisted in the United States Army in 1959, after graduating from Greenville High School, serving his country honorably until 1965. He was a proud veteran who celebrated patriotism for our country and always ensured the American Flag flew where ever he lived.

Jerry met his beautiful bride Carolyn Bayes in California. They married April 4, 1964 and settled down in Phoenix, Arizona in 1973. Together they raised 4 children, Jeffery, Kimberly, Shane and Traci. Jerry drove a semi-truck for several years, driving cross country, before beginning his career as a correctional service officer for the State of Arizona.

Jerry enjoyed life's simple pleasures. Spending time with his family, loved being outdoors, going fishing when he could, listening to his radio on the porch and reminiscing about his upbringing and adventures on the farm. He also enjoyed watching sports on TV and loved his Dallas Cowboys. He was an active member at his church, Thomas Road Baptist, often serving by driving the church van to pick up members for services on Sundays.

Jerry is survived by his children, Jeffery Rosenbalm, Kimberly Chandler (Chris), Shane Rosenbalm and Traci Nunez (Sal); eight grandchildren Kayla, Chelsea, Christopher, Carter, Crystal, Marcus, Matthew and Michael; eight great-grandchildren Mason, Makenzie, Jensen, Cayden, Ethan, Hayden, Jaxon and Carson; nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. Besides his parents, Jerry was predeceased by his wife Carolyn Rosenbalm and his siblings, Alvie, Margie, Perry and Modine and his great-granddaughter Kinley Rosella Hale.

Memorial Services will be held on July 17, 2025 at 9:00am at the National Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Arizona. 2929 E Pinnacle Peak Rd. Phoenix, Arizona 85024
