James "Moe" Douthit Obituary
James "Moe" Douthit, age 82, of Caddo Mills, Texas, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2020.
He was born Feb. 12, 1938 in Caddo Mills to Henry and Jeanie Douthit. James married Patsy Ruth on Sept. 19, 1958.
He was a life long farmer and rancher. He served in the U.S. Army, and was a retired volunteer fire fighter for the fire department in Caddo Mills.
He enjoyed doing puzzles, working with his cattle, and spending time with his family and friends.
James is survived by his daughter, Leia Douthit; sister-in-law, Anna Beth Douthit and Juanita Holt; nephew, Todd Douthit.
He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, and his brother, Elwood Douthit.
There will be a visitation on Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2020 at Lynch Funeral Home in Caddo Mills, from 6-8 p.m. A graveside service will be Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2020 at IOOF Caddo Mills, at 11 a.m. Dr. Russell Rogers will be officiating.
