Freda Gayle Taylor Obituary
Campbell - Freda Gayle Taylor, 75, of Campbell, Texas, passed away on Dec. 17, 2025 at Hunt Regional Medical Center.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, Jan. 11 at 2 p.m. at the Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel. with her nephew Baret Sanders officiating. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Freda was born April 8, 1950 in Greenville, Texas, to Rex and Hazel Long McDonald. She married Douglas Alfonzo Taylor on March 16, 1986 in Campbell, Texas.
She is survived by her children, Jeff Branch and wife, Cindy, Jessie Branch and wife, Ginny, Shayla Harrison, Glenn Taylor and wife, Cyndi; brothers, Ricky McDonald, Dale McDonald; sisters, Glennie "Shorty" Broughton, Louise Ishmael; grandchildren, Nathan Branch, Natalie Branch, Jordan Reynolds and husband, Josh, Kalin Branch, Tierany Branch, Michael Felts and wife, Wynter, Danny Harrison, Allie Harrison, Hunter Harrison, Kennedy Harrison, Jeromy Taylor, Jacob Taylor, Sarah Taylor, Noah Taylor; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Freda is preceded in death by her parents; husband; step-son, Rodney Taylor; brothers, Harvey McDonald and Rex "Bubba" McDonald, Jr.
