Darlon Drake Obituary

A celebration of life for Darlon Drake will be held Monday, Aug. 3, 2020, at 10 a.m. at Wilson Orwosky Funeral home of Emory. Visitation is one hour prior to service. Interment will follow at Memoryland Memorial Park in Greenville, Texas.

Darlon Drake was born March 26, 1940 to Vernon Drake and Alyne Drake in Greenville, Texas. He was married to Glenda Drake on July 03, 1960. Mr. Drake worked as a jeweler for 50 years. His hobbies included reading the Bible and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Glenda; children Darlena and Phillip Fields, David and Cindy Drake; Christina Bell and Brooks Bell. Mr. Drake is also survived by his grandchildren, Andelyn Fields, Lydia Neuenschwander, Darcy Fields, Wilson Fields, Kolton Drake and Brock Bell.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
