Anita Justine McMillon of Caddo Mills, Texas, passed away Nov. 13, 2020 at the age of 82 in Greenvile, Texas.

Justine is survived by her husband of 60 years, L.M. "Corky" McMillon of Caddo Mills, Texas, son Bradley McMillon and his wife Amy McMillon of Sherman, Texas, son Christopher McMillon and his wife Marie Darragh of Caddo Mills, Texas. Justine has four grandchildren, Ashley McMillon, Bryce McMillon, Ryan Finley McMillon, and Ellie Rós McMillon, who all called her "Meemaw." She is also survived by her loving sister, Carolyn Clarke of Oviedo, Florida, with whom she rarely missed a Sunday phone call.

Justine was preceded in death by her infant son, Stephen McMillon, and her parents, Eugene and Lucille Aldrich of Maitland, Florida.

Justine was born in Austin, Texas on June 23, 1938 where she spent her childhood. She was a graduate of W.B. Ray High School in Corpus Christi and Del Mar College in Corpus Christi. While in Corpus Christi, Justine met Corky McMillon and married him in 1960. Justine and Corky previously lived in Corpus Christi, Lake Charles, Portsmouth, New Orleans, and Houston before permanently settling down on their ranch in Caddo Mills in 1980.

Justine's main passion was art. She loved painting, and was painting in her own studio up until just a few weeks ago. She will be remembered for her local art classes and her landscape oil paintings. She also loved cooking, crafts, John Wayne and taking care of her plants.

Justine is fondly remembered as "Ms Mac" at Caddo Mills Elementary School, where she worked for 18 years. While there she worked in the cafeteria, as a teachers aide and as a computer instructor.

A memorial will be held at Lynch Funeral Home in Caddo Mills, Texas on Thursday, Nov. 19, 2020 from 2 to 4 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, her family requests donations be made to the American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association, in memoriam of Justine McMillon.
