Mrs. Cohns is so very missed. The mornings are so different without her beautiful smile and warm welcome. May the Lord send comfort to all those who hurt and miss her so much. Give them strength to keep going and share the memories and love of her for many years to come. Let people know who she was through the memories of others. Please share all your stories and memories of her. It is a great healing tool. She was a true jewel and is greatly missed but will never be forgotten.

Mrs. Cohns was always positive, happy and her smile will live with me forever. She was a great assistant principal and her love for her daughter reminded me of the bod I had with my mom.

Mrs Cohns has been my favorite Principle she was so nice and I miss her a lot! My whole class is very sad and we miss her. Please tell her family and her child that I am very sorry she lost her mommy and will pray for her and the rest of her family! I know Mrs Cohns is in heaven and God is taking care of her now.

Sending spiritual comfort and sympathies to the family and friends now and in the days ahead. While our paths only crossed briefly, Aishley and I were sorors, fellow ESS sisters, administrators and proud black women trying to offer the best of ourselves for the ones we loved and the children& families we served in GISD. Though we may not have shared a lot of time together, we shared an unspoken sisterhood in many ways that I respect greatly and lift up in her memory.
