Loveta Reisor Adams, 95, of Sulphur Springs and former Wolfe City resident, passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2017, in Carriage House Nursing Center.
Mrs. Adams was born April 27, 1921, in the Whiterock Community near Wolfe City to Bertrand Reisor and Nettie Woodard Reisor. She married Vesta Adams on March 9, 1944, in Dallas, Texas. Mrs. Adams was a homemaker and member of the First Baptist Church of Wolfe City.
Survivors are two daughters, Lynda Reier of Ft. Worth and Jackie Battreal of Irving, Texas; five grandchildren, Aaron Emde, Cinamon Gardner, Carrie Hagglund, Jennifer Morales and Alex Adams; five great-grandchildren; one sister, Geraldine Reisor of Greenville; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Adams was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one son, Larry Adams; four brothers and two sisters.
Graveside service will be held at Mt. Carmel Cemetery on Friday, March 10, at 2 p.m., conducted by Bro. Tim Hearn.
The family will gather at the funeral home prior to the service.
