James (Chad) Wallace, 50, of Greenville passed away at his residence on Monday, April 17, 2017. Funeral service will be held in the chapel of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home on Thursday, April 20, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Cody Pope officiating. Visitation will be held at 1 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Memoryland Memorial Park.
Chad was born Oct. 11, 1966, in Greenville, Texas, to James Thomas Wallace and Neva Nell Johnson.
Chad is survived by his mother, Neva Arrington of Greenville; brothers Troy Wallace and fiancé Linda Williams of Lone Oak, Bryant Wallace and wife Saundra of Spring; stepbrother Justin Arrington and wife Cindy of Idaho; sisters Jamie Swagerty of Greenville, Eva Green and husband Barry of Greenville; stepsister Stevanne Ellis of Maryland; nieces and nephews Amanda Davenport and husband Brady, Seth Wells and wife Holly, Brad Schucker and husband Brian, Leslie Ponko, Nathan Wallace, Kegan Wallace, Cody Pope and wife Shayla, Katy Hackney and husband Todd, Caroline Kittelson and Leonardo Espinosa, Sally Green, Skye Arrington and Shawnee Arrington; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, great-nieces, great-nephews and friends.
Chad was preceded in death by his father and stepmother, James and Marquetta Wallace, stepfather Charles Arrington; grandparents J.T. and Modine Wallace, Raymond and Cloteen Johnson; an uncle, Victor Johnson; nephew Daniel Wells; stepbrother Ashley Arrington; and cousin Mack Bates.
