Cecil Faye Campbell, 87, of Anthony passed away Friday, Oct. 6, 2017, at White Acres Good Samaritan Retirement Village. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 10, in the Coker-Mathews Funeral Home chapel with Vicki Griffis officiating. Burial will be in Memoryland Memorial Park. Visitation will be 9 a.m. until service time.
Mrs. Campbell was born in South Sulphur, Texas, on Feb. 3, 1930, to James Spurlock and Clyde Keller. She married Dale Jackson Campbell on Sept. 1, 1950, in Greenville, Texas. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.
She is survived by her son, Paul Dale Campbell and wife Jodi of Huber Heights, Ohio; daughter Rhonda Powers and husband Bill of Anthony, Texas; grandchildren Jared P. Campbell, Nathan D. Campbell, Bill Powers Jr., and Texas Powers; one great-grandchild; brother Marion Spurlock and wife Rhonda of Commerce; and sister Ann Vance of Pasadena, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, and three sisters.
Pallbearers will be Paul Campbell, Jared Campbell, Bill Powers, Bill Powers Jr., Texas Powers, and Marion Powers.
