Caleb Wayne Akers, 21, of Allen, Texas, passed away April 5, 2017.
He was born Aug. 18, 1995, in Plano, Texas, to James Anthony and Jane Elizabeth (Brock) Akers. Caleb grew up in Allen, Texas, and graduated from Allen High School in 2014. Throughout the years, he touched the lives of all the people he met. Caleb's smile could light up any room; he personified love. Caleb loved to make others happy by telling jokes and making them crafts; paper snowflakes are his trademark. He could talk your ear off about his favorite TV shows, movies or his toys. Not only was he generous and compassionate, he was strong in his faith. Caleb enjoyed Sundays at Chase Oaks Church bonding with friends and learning the word of Christ, his favorite verse being John 3:16. He never forgot to say the prayer before a meal always thanking Jesus for dying on the cross and asking for the safety of his loved ones.
Caleb is survived by his parents, James Akers of Greenville, Texas, and Jane Akers of Allen, Texas; sister Hannah Akers of Allen; grandparents, Lela Brock of Grapevine, Texas, W.C.
