Wilma Fay Vaughn, 92, of Greenville died Sept. 7, 2017. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 10, at Lynch Funeral Service, Greenville.
A celebration of life service will be scheduled at a later date at Briarclif Nursing Home in Greenville.
Born July 17, 1925, in Quinlan, Texas, she was the daughter of Claude and Bama Green. She married Thomas Alvis Vaughan on June 19, 1942. Wilma Vaughan was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a devoted school teacher and taught school in Caddo Mills and Terrell, Texas. She was a member of Vansickle Baptist Church.
Survivors are a daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and Sammy Thomason of Greenville; a son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Freda Vaughan of Caddo Mills; grandchildren Julie and Scott Decker of Caddo Mills, Eric Morgan and Carrie Morris of Chester, Va., Kurtis and Andrea Vaughan and Kaden and Dawn Vaughan of Caddo Mills; great-grandchildren Brittany, Ashley and Michael Decker, and Melise, Kruz, and Rhian Vaughan, Treyton Hebert and Aiden Allen of Caddo Mills; great-great-grandchildren Ryder Morrison, Duellie Brown, Kahl and Diesel Landers.
Her husband, Tommy; daughter and son-in-law Mary and David Morgan; grandson Clayton Morgan; mother; father; three brothers and one sister preceded her in death.
