Travis Gann, 86, of Greenville passed away Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2017, in Greenville, Texas.
Travis was born in Mexia, Texas, on July 20, 1931, to Travis and Thelma Barrett Gann. He has been happily married to his wife, Oleta Weaver Gann, for 66 years; they were married on April 14, 1951, in Greenville. Travis served our country in the US Navy for six years. After serving he was an engineer for E-Systems for more than 20 years. On retirement in 1995 they moved to their lake home on Cypress Springs Lake in Mt. Vernon, Texas; they were there some 25 years. Travis' failing health brought them back to Greenville.
Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Oleta Gann; sons Michael Gann and wife Robin and Scott Gann and wife Sally; daughters Lisa More and husband Randy and Susan Beisel; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
