Susan Phillips, 60, of Greenville, Texas, passed away on Friday, January 12, 2018. She was born and raised in Greenville by her parents, B.J. and Beatrice Phillips. Susan was a graduate of Greenville High School where she was head cheerleader and a class favorite. Other than being a mom, one of her favorite jobs after high school was working as a surgical assistant at the hospital in Greenville and for orthopedic surgeon Sandy B. Bahm, M.D. Susan was an avid sports fan, and was especially passionate about Texas Longhorn football. She was a loving mother and friend, and she will be truly missed.
Susan was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Mark Phillips. She leaves to cherish her memory her son and his wife, Kent and Chelsea Manton; granddaughter Mary Jo Manton; daughter and her husband, Elizabeth and Colton Williamson; brother and his wife, Kent and Sherry Phillips; nephew Mark Phillips, his wife Shannon and their children; nephews, Grant and Reese Phillips and sister-in-law Diane Dawson.
A visitation with family and friends will be held at the Villas of Greenville, 5000 Joe Ramsey Blvd. E on Saturday, January 20, 2018, from 2-4 p.m.
