Susan Paulette Gunia, 52, of Point, passed away at Baylor Hospital of Dallas. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 1, at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Paul McMerrell officiating. Burial will be in Donelton Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., today, at the funeral home.
Susan was born Oct. 3, 1964, in Evurex-Fauvile, France, to Charles Gunia and Dorothy Boykin. She was a member of Bull Creek Cowboy Church in Lone Oak.
She is survived by her parents, Charles and Dorothy Gunia of Point; brothers, Raymon Gunia of Greenville and Michael Gunia and wife Rafa of East Tawakoni; sisters, Boonchu Garrett and husband Brett of Miller Grove, Anchalee Miller and husband Larry of Lone Oak and Penny Gunia of West Tawakoni; and nieces and nephews, Shandell Sixberry, Daniell Garrett, Kayla Rosenthal, Matthew Rosenthal, Sarah Vaughn, Courtney McRight, Ashley Gunia, Karina Alvarado, Trevor Miller, Chole Miller, Paul Singleton, Angel Lopez and Noah Lopez.
She was preceded in death by her infant sister, Christina Gunia.
