Memorial service for Sunny Sue Fenter, 57, of Greenville were held Saturday, Jan. 13, in the Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home chapel in Emory.
Sunny passed away Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2018, at Hunt Regional Healthcare in Greenville.
Sunny was born July 29, 1960, in Kerrville, to William Weston and Frances Freeze Montgomery.
She worked on several jobs, but for the most part, she was a homemaker.
She attended high school at Rains High School where she was a member of the prestigious Rainettes, as well as participating in many school functions.
She went to college in Commerce at East Texas State University. She lacked only six hours to obtain her bachelor's degree in accounting.
Her studies stopped abruptly due to her accident.
Sunny did "fight the good fight" ... and now can find peace, rest, and a restored body ... no more sickness, no pain ... just peace for evermore in that beautiful place called Heaven.
Survivors include her daughter, Ashley Savell (Greg) of Parker; grandchildren Dylan Fenter and Colton Ferrell; first cousins Cay Frances House, Gaye Fennimore, and Leah French; caregiver Marsha Dabney; and faithful friend Linda Gudger.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
