Samuel David Glassman died Thursday, Oct. 19, 2017, in Fort Worth. Graveside service will be at 11 a.m., Sunday, Oct. 22, at Temple Emanu-EL Cemetery 3430 Howell St, Dallas, Texas 75204.

Samuel was born May 24, 1939, in Greenville Texas, to Thomas Charles "Charlie" and Alma Strauss Glassman. Sammy, as he was called by those closest to him, graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1961. He immediately joined the Army and was stationed at Fort Mason, Calif., from 1961 to 1963. Sammy was a stock broker with A.G. Edwards for 37 years, then continued with Wells Fargo for an additional six years.
Sammy was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved sister and brother-in-law, Joan Nussbaum and Julius Nussbaum.
Survivors are his loving wife of 16 years, Janine; his devoted daughters, Kim Chudnovsky of California and Jolie Kerenick and son-in-law Dr. Dean Kerenick of Ohio; adoring grandchildren Nathan, Leah and Anna Chudnovsky and Azelyn and Adelaide Kerenick; faithful nephew Jay Nussbaum of Kentucky, and caring niece Melanie Weisenfeld of California.
