Ronnie L. Stailey, 69, of Quinlan passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2017, at Baylor Medical Center of Dallas. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, June 10, in the Coker-Mathews Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Joyce Pattison and Rev. Dwayne Pattison officiating. Burial will be in Memoryland Memorial Park.
Mr. Stailey was born in Commerce, Texas, on Sept. 11, 1947, to Emmett Stailey and Lorene Smith. He married Cheryl Duesterberg. He retired as a hostler for Yellow Freight. He was a member of First Pentecostal Church of God of Greenville and Greenville Lodge 335.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Stailey of Quinlan; sons Bill Delahunt of Deadwood, S.D., and Matt Delahunt of Albuquerque, N.M.; daughters Shelly Coker and husband Marc of Caddo Mills and Tammy Tanner and husband Bobby of Campbell; sisters Linda Renfrow and husband Tommy of Greenville and Judy Stailey of Greenville; grandchildren Heather, Mallorie, Kaitlyn, Chloe', Matthew and Haley; six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and longtime friend Larry Key.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Jerry Stailey and grandson Dillon.
