Ronald Edwin Clark, 78, of Greenville, Texas, went to be with his Lord and Savior July 31, 2017.
He was born Nov. 26, 1938, to Sylvester and Lauren Clark in Philadelphia, Pa. He served our country in the US Army for two years, was a deputy sheriff in Dallas County for 19½ years and with the Dallas Police Department for 6½ years.
Ronald is survived by his wife, Nancy Caldwell Clark; son Ronald Edwin Clark Jr.; daughters Jennifer Clark and Malinda Clark and husband Josh Hines; brother Greg Clark of Coatesville, Pa., grandchildren Trevor, Jeffery, Jordan, Kristen, and Rebekah; great-grandson Jaxon Clark; and many other loving relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Harry Clark.
A memorial service was held at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 7, at Salem Kinser United Methodist Church. Inurnment was held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 8, at the DFW National Cemetery.
