Randy Lee Ketchum

Randy Lee Ketchum Randy Lee Ketchum, 57, of Quinlan went to be with his Lord and Savior Saturday, Feb. 9, 2019 in Dallas. Memorial services celebrating Randy's life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 9 at Ingram Funeral Home with Pastor Lance Eiland officiating.
Randy was born May 29, 1961 in Waco, Texas. He is the son of the late Clifton Fredrick Ketchum and Bonnie Ardean Foster. He married the former Obie Woodlene Edwards (Woodie) and they had two daughters, Amy and Amanda.
He loved bull riding, farming, dancing, gardening, chicken fighting, deer hunting with his brother and father, fishing, playing guitar, telling stories, making people laugh, gambling, chasing women, helping people, collecting junk and raising two daughters. He loved to make people laugh, would go out of his way to help someone in need, made sure children were healthy and happy in his presence. He treated everyone the same.
He was the last of a dying breed, a true cowboy! He is preceded in death by his daughter Amanda Ketchum.
He is loved and will be missed by his daughter Amy Ketchum, his brother Mike Ketchum and sisters Deborah Ketchum, Jean Jackson, Lenette Vick, Donna Ketchum and a few nieces and nephews and their children who were all special to him in their own way and will miss him. That includes family on his ex-wife and the mother of his kids' side, who remained family and he loved the same even after the separation. He also had a deep love and respect for the Anderton clan and the Hernandez family of Quinlan.
He had many friends, special women, business associates, friends of his daughters; Amanda and Amy, whom he cared for deeply, police officials and business owners all over the small town of Quinlan.
His granddaughter Bryer Lee Raven, a.k.a Tootie, who was his whole world and stole his heart from the moment she arrived will carry on his good looks and what he liked to say "Steve McQueen blue eyes." His daughter Amy Ketchum will miss him most as she carries on his legacy and utilizes his life-lessons that he instilled in her to do her best at attempting to restore the light that dimmed greatly in this town when he passed on to "that deluxe apartment in the sky."
