Preston Ray Tarrant passed away Sept. 29, 2017, in Greenville. He was born in Greenville, on Aug. 18, 2002, the son of Ronny Duane Tarrant and Ashley Nicole Tarrant.
Preston was a freshman in high school, and loved being a part of the robotics team for many years. He was an avid video game fan and enjoyed playing Xbox, and was very passionate in his goal to become famous from his YouTube channel. Preston always had a smile on his face and loved to sing.
He looked forward to each summer at the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) summer camp, where his favorite things to do were to swim and zip line.
Those left to cherish his memory are his parents; sister, Addisyn; grandparents, Mark and Cheryl (Luttrell) Wilson and Fran and Knenny Morgan; great-grandfather, James Wilson; aunts, Amanda Wilson, Felicia Johnson, Tanya Dent and Amanda Tarrant; uncle, Justin Wilson; cousins, Sophia, Miranda, Kelsie, Haley, Jaden, Eliza and Maci; and numerous other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Virginia Wilson, Mercile Spardella and Calvin Luttrell.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., today, at Quest Church in Royse City, with J.J. Williams officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association in Preston's name at www.MDA.org.
