Peggy Jean McCutchen, 86, of Highlands Ranch, Colo., (formerly of Greenville) passed away Oct. 18, 2017, in Parker, Colo. A graveside service will be held at Forest Park Cemetery at 3 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 28, with Dr. John T. Tate officiating. Visitation will be at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home at 2 p.m. until service time.
Born Jan. 5, 1931, in Greenville, Peggy was the daughter of James Thomas McCormack and Anna Mitchell McCormack. On Nov. 14, 1944, in Greenville, she married T.J. McCutchen; he preceded her in death in 1997. She was a homemaker and longtime member of Central Christian Church in Greenville.
Her survivors include her son, Gary McCutchen of Highlands Ranch, Colo.; daughter Sandra Vaughn and husband Woodie of Greenville; two granddaughters, Samantha Haywood and husband Danny of Sulphur Springs and Shelly Vaughn of McKinney; three great-grandchildren, Zachary, Zane and Zoe Haywood of Sulphur Springs; and two nieces, Shirley Shaw & Debbie Harris, both of Dallas.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and sister Anita Harris.
The family request memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
