Pam  Dooley Hidler


Pam Dooley Hidler, 62, of Greenville passed away on Sept. 2, 2019, at Hunt Regional Medical Center. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Coker-Mathews Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Robert Cook officiating. Interment will follow at Prairie Valley Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday evening.
Born July 23, 1957, in Greenville, Pam was the daughter of the late J.B. and Virginia (Harris) Dooley of Lone Oak. She married Robert A. Hidler on April 18, 1980 in Lawton, Oklahoma.
She was an employee of Hunt Regional Medical Center for 43 years, retiring in December 2018. She was a member of Prairie Valley Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Sarah Doucette and husband Joseph of Royse City; grandchildren Micah, Matthew, Jeremiah and Mercy McCallum; stepson Sam Hidler and wife Michelle of Buda; stepdaughter Sherrie Stewart and husband Donavan of Arlington; step-grandchildren Samuel, Sawyer, Samantha, and Sophia Hidler; brother, Brandon Dooley and wife Noreen of Katy; sisters, Carolyn Bowen of Plano and Gayle Rodgers and husband John of Plano; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert and her parents.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Prairie Valley Cemetery Association, P.O. Box 9273, Greenville, TX 75404.
Pallbearers will be Joey Doucette, Justin James, Jackson Rodgers, Gary Harris, Robert Harris, Gary Spurr, Ray Dooley, Gary Dooley and honorary pallbearer David Harris.

I was the school nurse at Bowie when Pam’s grandchildren attended school there. Pam was always so cordial and friendly.

May fleets of angels carry her to a special place in heaven where she all new and so healed...and God bless her and her family. Her smile was infectious. She worked so hard for so many years. I prayed this was her second starting of life. Rest In Peace Pam... Bye for now.... Amen
