Onnie Lee Dixon, 74, of Greenville passed away Friday, Aug. 25, 2017, at her home.
Onnie was born in Monroe, La., on Sept. 9, 1942, to Jewel and Martha Hodge Wilson. She was retired from L3 where she was a secretary for 20-plus years.
Those left to cherish her memory are sisters Sylvia Prestridge and Peggy Rix; brother Hershel and wife Pat; grandchildren Lindsey Dixon, Cameron Dixon, and Blake Dixon; daughter-in-law Kim Dixon; and special friend Rob Tyson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sons Darren Jeff Dixon and Kelly Wayne Dixon, and sisters Wyvone Watson and Glenda Watson.
A funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 27, at Creekside Church of Christ with Minister Randy Daw officiating, with a visitation one hour prior (1 p.m.). Interment will follow at Boles Cemetery with Cameron Dixon, Trey Jackson, Makenzie True, Britton Boyd, Jordan Scroggins and Richard Burns serving as pallbearers, Rob Tyson will be serving as honorary pallbearer.
