Margie Lee Harlin, 85, of Greenville, passed away at her residence on Jan. 21, 2017.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, Jan. 27, at the chapel of Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce, Arkansas. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 26, at Benton Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Crossroads Cemetery in Kingsland, Arkansas. There will be a visitation from 6 to 8 p.m., today, at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home. Coker-Mathews handled all arrangements.
Margie was born in Ivan, Arkansas, on July 7, 1931, to Leonard Lee and Lula Edna Wilson Connell. She married James O. (Red) Payne on July 21, 1950, in Arkansas. He preceded her in death on April 8, 1975. She then married John B. (J. B.) Harlin on May 4, 1991. He preceded her in death on May 18, 2006. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Point, Texas.
Margie is survived by her significant other, Mike Franks; daughter, Pam Borowsky; sister, Ruth Banks; grandchildren, Jeffrey Payne Sr. and Jimmie Catravas; great-grandchildren, Alex Connally, Jeffrey Payne Jr., John Payne, Aiden Catravas, Liam Payne and Nikolai Payne.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands and brothers, Doug Connell and Billy Connell.
