Lynette Hudson Wesch, 97, of Commerce, formerly longtime resident of Richardson, Texas, passed away Sept. 21, 2017, at her home. Her funeral service will be 10 a.m., Monday, Sept. 25, in the Coker-Mathews Funeral Home chapel with Rev Samuel Glenn, Randy Blansett and Scutter Newton officiating. Interment will follow at Grove Hill Cemetery in Dallas.
Visitation will be Sunday, 5 to 7 p.m., at the funeral home.
Lynette was born Jan. 1, 1920, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Maude and Frank Hudson. She married Frank O. Wesch in May 1942. They raised two children, Ronald Lynn and Lynnell Wesch.
She was preceded in death by her husband, son, parents, and grandparents.
Lynette is survived by her daughter, Lynnell (Nell) Wesch; grandchildren Kenneth Gay and wife Christy, Chad Gay and wife Suzanne and Tammy Swann; great-grandchildren Kaeli, Hudson and Olivia Gay and Danielle and Garrett Swann; brother Frank Hudson and wife Irene; sister Joy Andrews; and special extended family who call her Mom, Scutter Newton, Randy and Rhea Blansett, Chris and Susan Noble, Carol Wilensky and Carol Neubauer and many more; and cousin Doyle Currin.
The family would like to offer their sincere appreciation for the care provided by Kindred Hospice and Dr. Rick Selvaggi, and Barbara Coffman, Jan Clayton, Diane Lewis, Kim Strube and Becca Chambers for all their love and care they gave Mom through the years.
Pallbearers will be Tristan Clayton, Ray Clayton, Garrett Swann, Chris Noble, Randy Blansett, and Mike Blansett.
