Lynda Sue Cornell Keen Lynda Sue Cornell Keen, 69, of Campbell, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2019 at her residence. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 13 at the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel in Leonard. Charles E. Wrenn will officiate. Burial will be in the Grove Hill Cemetery near Leonard. Family visitation and viewing will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 12.
Lynda was born March 3, 1950 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Her parents were Lawrence Waechter and Lillian Francis Moorefield Cornell. She married Joe Wayne Keen, Sr. Dec. 1, 1967 at Grove Hill. They were married 51 years, 3 months and 10 days. She was a beautician and a member of the Grove Hill Methodist Church.
Lynda is survived by her husband Joe Wayne Keen, Sr. of Campbell; her daughter Tina Keen of Commerce; her son and daughter-in-law Joe Wayne, Jr. and Everlye Keen of Greenville, her grandchildren Corey Warrick, Emma Keen, Hannah Keen, Joshua Keen, Kate Keen, Levi Keen, Caleb Keen, Jeremiah Keen and Nathaniel Keen; her brothers and sisters-in-law Ronald Wayne and Joan Cornell of Batavia Ohio, Lawrence Douglas and Charlotte Cornell of New Brockton, Alabama and Terry Lee and Anna Cornell of Cincinnati, Ohio; her half-sister Melody Anderson Moore of Greenville, Texas.
Lynda was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Waechter Cornell, her mother, Lillian Francis Cornell Anderson and her half-sister, Mary Alice Cornell Froehlick.
The family of Lynda Keen would like to extend thanks to the staff of Hunt Regional Hospital, Hunt Regional Home Health and Vitas Hospice Care for the loving and gentle care during her illness.
