Linda Sue McClain


Linda Sue (Plaxco) West McClain, 71, of Greenville, passed away on Feb. 1, 2019.
She was born Jan. 31, 1948 in Greenville, Texas to Frank and Imogene Plaxco.
Linda loved the Lord Jesus Christ. She was a faithfull member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church where she attended services with her husband and family. She also enjoyed attending services at Adat Shalom Church in Dallas.
Linda was a devoted wife and mother who lovingly cared for her family all her life. She was a talented artist, and in her spare time she enjoyed artistic things such as drawing, painting, and graphic design.
She is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Ross McClain; daughters, Kristin Rae McClain and Kacey Renee McClain; Samantha Holloway; cousin, Ronnie Plaxco; along with a host of loving relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Bill West; son, Sean West; and beloved pet Smitty the schnoodle.
A Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 5, at Lynch Funeral Service in Greenville. A Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 6, at Christ Community Church in Greenville.
Serving as honorary pallbearers are Cy Yosten, Lee Davis, Wes Redus, Glen Murphy, Mark Yosten, Sam Yosten, Michael Yosten, Phillip Yosten, and Samantha Holloway.
