Jason Duffy Klemm, 51, of Celeste, passed away Dec. 23, 2017 at Parkland from injuries sustained in a fire at his family home.
He was born March 9, 1966 in Dallas. Nine days later, by the selfless act of Janet Preston O'Brien and the beautiful gift of adoption, he became the son of Jerald and Jayne Klemm.
He was a member of First Baptist Church of Farmersville, and the owner of Klemm Roofing. He was a lover of God, family and life. He rarely, if ever, met a stranger.
Throughout his life, he embarked on many unique endeavors, one of which was acting. Jason was a proud member of the Screen Actors Guild. His credits include several feature length films, TV appearances, and short films. He also produced 3 features.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 23 years, Deidra Klemm of Celeste; daughters, Jessica Carter of Austin, Kennedy and Kathryn Klemm of Celeste; father, Jerald "Jerry" Klemm of Farmersville; sister Joanna Thornton of Celeste.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Athie Jayne Klemm.
A visitation service will be held Friday, Dec. 29, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Lynch Funeral Home Chapel in Caddo Mills.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, Dec. 30, at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Farmersville, Texas.
A private Graveside Service will be held at Wilson Chapel Cemetery where Jason will be laid to rest beside his loving mother.
