Helen Estes Mays, 96, of Greenville, died Thursday, May 25, 2017, at Colonial Lodge. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, May 30, 2017, at Wesley United Methodist Church under the direction of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Gould and Rev. Gene Wisdom officiating. Interment will be in Forest Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 29, 2017, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Mays was born in Bassett, Neb. on April 8, 1921. he was the daughter of George W. Estes and Cora Mae Lawton Estes. She married Weldon F. Mays on January 13, 1946 in El Paso.
She was a homemaker and member of Wesley United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her daughters, Nancy Mays Hutchins and husband, Robert of Greenville, Cinda Mays Boshart and husband, Jay, of Greenville and Susan Estes Mays of Caddo Mills; grandchildren, Matthew Hutchins and wife, Analiese, Mary Wesson and husband, Eric, Brian Hutchins and wife, Jodie, Elizabeth Hutchins, Sarah Hipps and husband, Michael, Mark Hutchins and wife, Hillary, Samuel Hutchins and wife, Hannah, Stephen Hutchins, Katherine Hutchins, Caleb Hutchins, Ruth Hutchins, Abigail Hutchins, Emily Poulter and husband, Tommy, Rebecca Ellis and husband, Michael, Stan Boshart and wife, Maggie, Hannah Worley and husband, Phillip, Caroline Flowers and husband, Lawson, Grant Boshart, Christina Killgore and husband, Joseph, Laura Boshart, Dan Kelso and wife, Ashleigh, Drew Kelso, Grace Kelso and Ben Kelso and 34 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband in 2011; four brothers and two sisters.
