Harvey Leo Ragan, 78, of Greenville, Texas, passed away Nov. 5, 2017, at home in Greenville, Texas.
He was born June 13, 1939, in Winnsboro, Texas, to Malden and Myra Ragan.
He served in the United States Air Force and was a retired fireman for the city of Greenville. Harvey was also a member of Westview United Methodist Church. One of his greatest loves was painting until his health worsened.
Harvey is survived by his wife, Bobbie Ragan of Greenville; brother Jerry Ragan and wife June; sister Melba Pierson and spouse Dave of Tyler; daughters Tina Ragan of Denton and Vicki Killough and spouse Mike; son Larry Bryant of Floyd; grandchildren Bridget Buchanan and spouse Jerry, Shawna Cirkles, Michelle Nelson and spouse Brad, Adam Bryant and spouse Ann, and James Bryant and spouse Mary, all of Floyd; 18 great-grandkids and two great-great-grandchildren.
Harvey was preceded in death by his son, Randall Scott Ragan of Apache Junction, Ariz.; his mother and father, Malden and Myra Ragan of Winnsboro; and his nephew, Jeff Ragan.
Pallbearers are James Bryant, Adam Bryant, Brad Nelson, Mike Ragan, Leaf Pierson, Jerry Buchanan. Honorary pallberers are Tyler Mullis and Derrick Pierson.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, Nov. 9, 2017, at 11 a.m. at Lynch Funeral Service with a visitation one-hour prior. The service will be followed by a graveside service at Memoryland Memorial Park.
