Glen Ray Fields, 70, of Pecan Gap passed away Thursday, Sept. 28, 2017. His services is scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 1, at the Campbell High School gymnasium. Interment will follow at the Center Point Cemetery. Rev. David Howard will officiate.
Visitation will be Saturday, Sept. 30, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Delta Funeral Home, Cooper.
Serving as pallbearers will be Danny Humphries, Tory Humphries, Mike Hoffmann, Alan Ottmo, Greg Williams, and Avis Stancil, Honorary pallbearers are Larry Joe Braley and Earnie Phelps
Glen was born Jan. 27, 1947, in Commerce, Texas, to Granville and Nona Raye Huskey Fields.
He was a principal and coach. He was a member of the Ladonia Masonic Lodge and the Fannin County Athletic Hall of Fame.
Glen is survived by his wife, Barbara Fields of Commerce; son Jason Fields and wife Sara of Campbell, Texas; son Curtis Ford of Louisiana; daughter Lisa Smith of Greenville, S.C.; sister Martha Crews and husband Ricky of Pecan Gap, Texas; brother Jerry Fields and wife Mary of Mineral Wells, Texas; six grandchildren, Kaylee Derrick, Braden Fields, Lexie Fields, Coleman Moody, Will Moody, and Grace Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews.
