Frances Collins Frances Marie Watson Collins passed away on March 6, 2019 in Dallas, TX. She was born on November 21, 1933 in Black Cat Thicket in Hunt County, TX. Frances graduated from Wolfe City High School in 1951. After moving to Dallas she lived with Aunt Lillie Mae and Uncle Everit and worked for Bell Telephone, at the time was the world's largest telephone company and she was celebrated as the youngest telephone operator. She was member of Freeman Heights Baptist Church in Garland and then became a member of FBC in Dallas. She enjoyed music, choir, horses, family, and friends. She was a loving sister, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Frances is survived by her daughter Beverly and her husband Fred; son, Bryan; grandchildren, Candace Collins, Ben, Beth, John, AnneMarie, and Will Treffinger; and great grandchildren, Jude, Cash, Lane, Conner, Sage, Belle, and Colt; sisters, Frankie Estell Gregory of OklahomaCity, Nancy Louise Parsons of Wolfe City, and Debra Kim Martin of Emory; brothers, Dewey Edmond, Joe Allen, William Don, Medford DeWayne of Greenville. Jerry Kelly of Campbell and Danny O'Neal of Lone Oak; and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her father, William Manferd, and her mother, Oreta Fulton O'Neal; her precious husband, SK Collins; brothers, Darrell Lynn and Glenn Ray Watson.
Family will be receiving guests Monday, March 11 at 9am at the Wildwood Chapel at Restland Memorial Park with funeral starting at 10am and interment to follow.
