Felipe's Story

Felipe Reyes, 70, of Farmersville, Texas, passed away May 16, 2017, at his residence. He was born Aug. 11, 1946, in Charco, Texas, to Juan and Maria Rodriguez Reyes. He married Juanita Montez on June 19, 1968, in Rockwall, Texas. He worked at Intercontinental as a leadsman. He was a member of the St. Anthony Catholic Church in Wylie, Texas. He also served in the U.S. Army.
Felipe is survived by his wife, Juanita Reyes; son Rosando Reyes and wife Jeanne; grandchildren Amanda Reyes and Alex Reyes; brothers Isabel Reyes and wife Lupe, Jesus Reyes and wife Elizabeth, Margarito Reyes and wife Antonia, and Juan Reyes; sisters Maria Perez and husband John and Gloria Guerrero and husband Francisco.
Felipe was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Lucia and Estella.
Visitation was Wednesday at Hurst's Fielder Baker Funeral Home in Farmersville, followed by a rosary.
Service will be Thursday, May 18, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Wylie, Texas. Father Anthony M. Densmore will officiate. Burial will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Farmersville.
