Lotte Estaleen Currin Millsap, 100, of Greenville, died Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2017, at Legend Healthcare. Graveside service will be 11 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 16, at Memoryland Memorial Park under the direction of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home with Rev. Royce Litchfield officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Born Aug. 18, 1917, in Hunt County, Texas, to King Smizer Currin and Ottis Estell Campbell Currin, she was raised in the Floyd and Farmersville, Texas, areas and graduated from Farmersville High School. She worked for Southwestern Bell as an operator for 25 years until her retirement in 1983.
She married Sherman Millsap on Oct. 22, 1939, in the Church of Christ of Floyd.
She is survived by one son, Harold Millsap and wife Cam of Greenville; grandchildren Stephanie Palmer and husband Ronny of Wills Point, Tim Foster, Natalie Peters and husband Brad of Rockwall, Laurel Rutherford of Wylie and Wendy Millsap of Dallas; great-grandchildren, Justin and Kailey Peters, Morgan and Landon Palmer and Madison, Katie and Jacob; and sister Lois McCord of Lavon.
She was preceded in death by her husband, son Donald Wayne Millsap, daughters Sue Foster and Kay Ellis, and numerous siblings.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Brooks, Tim Foster, Brad Peters. Justin Peters, Ronny Palmer and Landon Palmer.
