Edward L. Harris

Edward L. Harris Edward L. Harris, 84, of Greenville passed away Friday, Jan. 18, 2019 in Plano. A memorial service will be held 10 a.m., Jan. 26 at Living Christ Fellowship, 3624 Sockwell Street in Greenville, with Bro. Tim Griffin officiating. Interment will be at 3 p.m. at Little Cemetery in Seminole, Oklahoma. A visitation will be held Friday, Jan. 25 from 6-9 p.m. at Peters Funeral Home.
Edward was born in Holdenville, Oklahoma on Oct. 12, 1934 to Louis Henderson Harris and Iva Marie Harris. Edward was in the Army National Guard. He married Edith Burk on June 12, 1954 in Hughes Co, Oklahoma. She preceded him in death on Dec. 30, 1969.
Those left to cherish his memory are daughters Karan J. Jones and husband Daniel E. Jones, Teresa Hibdon, son Craig E. Harris and wife Joyce, grandchildren Tonayia Davidson, Rachael Laymance, Rebecca Laymance, Danielle Parrent, Jeremy Hibdon, Isaac Hibdon, Timothy Hibdon, Sarah Hibdon, David Harris, Kimberly Steele, Jamie Harris and Carrie Harris, 27 great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by grandsons, Joshua Hibdon and Eddie Harris, twin brother Edwin and 5 sisters.

I've been renting from Mr Harris for a year and all I have to say is I'm forever grateful that I got the chance to get to know him he was truly a wonderful man inside and out he cared for so many and I'm so sad that I will never get to see his smiling face ever again I just hope he knows up in heaven how truly we loved him and we will truly miss him by Mr Harris thank you for being such a wonderful man I'm very sad that I missed the chance to come to his funeral had I known the information I would have been there to share my condolences with all the people he knew and the family he loved I know your in heaven smiling knowing you made a diffrence in so many peoples lives and you will never be... forgotten we loved you Sir... First met Ed around 1973, and have had a GLORIOUS journey under the Apostolic ministry. One breath on earth ...the next breath in Heaven...HBD.
