Deron Taylor Brown, 50, of Wylie passed away Jan. 10, 2018, in Plano.
A visitation will be held Saturday, Jan. 13, at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home from 4 to 6 p.m.
A memorial service will be at 4 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 14, at Town North Presbyterian Church in Richardson, Texas. A visitation will follow the service at the church. Interment will be at a later date.
Mr. Brown was born Dec. 29, 1967, in Houston, Texas, to William B. and Sue F. Brown. He moved to Greenville with his family in 1972. He was baptized in Westminster Presbyterian Church and was a member of the second graduating class of Greenville Christian School in 1986.
He received a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial engineering from Texas A&M University in December 1991. He worked in quality control for Sanden, Inc. for more than 18 years and most recently worked as a pharmacy technician for a Kroger store in Richardson. He was a member of Town North Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his mother, Sue F. Brown of Greenville, and brother Tracy Brown of Greenville.
He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents O.D. and Versia Brown and Homer and Ameila Martin.
Donations in Deron's memory may be made to the Town North Presbyterian Church Building Fund or to Greenville Christian School.
