Clemon (Skip) Lee of Neylandville died Jan. 6, 2018, at the Greenville Hospital. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at New Bethel CME Church in Neylandville. Rev. Fredrick Thompson will officiate. Burial will be at the Lee Family Cemetery.
Visitation is from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. today, Jan. 12, at Cozine & Tarver Funeral Home, Greenville.
Son of Albert and Ida Mae Lee, he was born Jan. 19, 1934, in Neylandville. He was a veteran, having served in the U.S. Army. He was a bus driver and a member of New Bethel AME Church and the NAACP.
Survivors are a son, Clemon Nakia Lee of Dallas; five brothers, Leon Lee of Neylandille, Harlan Lee, Lawrence Lee, and Morris Lee, all of Los Angeless, Calif., and James Martin of Rowlett; four sisters, Lois Callagan of Neylandville, Gloria Pippins and Erma Graham of Los Angeles, Calif., and Neva Martin of Greenville; one grandchild and nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
His parents, and three brothers preceded him in death.
