Clell E. Davidson, 96, of Greenville died Dec. 8, 2017. His funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, at Clark St. Christian Church with Rev. Phil Dukes officiating. Burial will be at DFW National Cemetery, Dallas.
Visitation will be Friday, Dec. 15, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and a wake from 6 to 7 p.m. at Cozine & Tarver Funeral Home.
Son of Bose F. and Octavia Davidson, he was born April 15, 1921, in Homer, La. He and his wife, Willard, were married in 1952. Mr. Davidson was a veteran, having served in the U.S. Army. He was a retired teacher.
His survivors include his wife, Willard Davidson of Greenville; a son, Dwight Davidson of Greenville; daughter Denise Coley (Ronald) of DeSoto, Texas; a sister, Ostra Lee Everett of Florida; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
His parents, four brothers, and three sisters preceded him in death.
