Charles Barnhardt

Charles Clyde Barnhardt, 82, of Greenville died Monday, Sept. 10, 2018, at Baylor Scott and White Medical Center in McKinney.
The funeral service will be Thursday, Sept. 13, at 10:30 a.m., at the Coker-Mathews Funeral Home chapel, with Rev. Carl Reimold and Rev. Tom Manning officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, Sept. 12, 6-8 p.m., at the funeral home.
Mr. Barnhardt was born in Caddo Mills, on May 17, 1936. He was the son of Clyde L. Barnhardt and Lizzie Webb Barnhardt. He married Janie Walker on Feb. 14, 1976 in Greenville. He was a 1954 graduate of Greenville High School and was the retired owner of Barnhardt Machine and Welding and Steel Warehouse. He was a member of Kavanaugh United Methodist Church and a member of the Greenville Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include his wife, Janie Barnhardt; son, Adam Barnhardt of Los Angeles, Calif.; daughters, Kimberly Barnhardt Williams and husband Kenneth of Sherman, and Jennifer Barnhardt Newton and husband Adam of Houston; grandchildren, Morgan Williams of Austin and Ramona Newton of Houston; and numerous cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Todd Barnhardt; and his aunt Thelma and uncle Welch Moore.
