Billie Ruth Johnson, a retired cook and resident of Greenville, Texas, passed away Jan. 17, 2018, at the age of 86.
Born Sept. 8, 1931, in Saltillo, Texas, she was the dughter of Howell and Dovie Wynn. Billie, a member of the Church of the Nazarene, enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She truly embraced all those she met with love.
She is survived by son Glen and wife Pat Johnson; daughters Vickie Adams, Nelda and husband Kenny Murdock, and Connie and husband Frank Stapp; sisters Jane Littrell and Sue Causey; 14 grandchildren and multiple great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by daughter Cecelia Long, sister Annette Ray, brother Charles Wynn, and her parents.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 20, in the Lynch Funeral Service chapel in Greenville, with interment to follow at Stouts Creek Cemetery, Saltillo, Texas. Visitation will be one hour prior to service.
