Amy Elizabeth Porter Lynch, 59, of Greenville, Texas, passed away Oct. 8, 2017, in Greenville.
She was born Aug. 14, 1958, to Joyce Marshall and Thomas E. Porter Jr. in Shreveport, La. Amy retired after a career of 30-plus years at Raytheon as a senior systems integration technologist II. Amy was a kind, sweet woman with a strong work ethic. She cared deeply for her family, pets, and grandchildren.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Michelle Lynch of Caddo Mills, Texas; daughter and son-in-law Kim and Scott Hermes of Cedar Park, Texas; sister and brother-in-law Nancy and Mike Long of Springtown, Texas; grandchildren Daegen Hermes, Ridley Hermes, Bailey Lynch and McKinley Lynch.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Tommy.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Oct. 21, at 2 p.m. in the Lynch Funeral Service chapel in Greenville.
