Agnes Gloria-Gene McFadden, 88, of Greenville, passed away on Feb. 2, 2018 at Greenville Health & Rehab. Funeral services will be at Monday, Feb. 5, 2018, at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home with Dr. James Ralson officiating. Burial will follow at Memoryland Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Agnes was born on June 13, 1929 in Kensing, Delta County to Jay Gould McKinney and Maude Mae Finch. She married Vanoy Thomas McFadden on July 26, 1952, in National City, Calif.
She did clerical work for the Greenville Women's Clinic with family planning. She took great pride in taking care of her yard and was even awarded Yard of Distinction. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Celeste.
Agnes is survived by her daughter, Connie McFadden Williams and husband Dalton of Emory; grandchildren Tommy Williams, Jean-Ann Brown and fiancé Tony Pope of Greenville; great-grandchildren Jackson and Angel Williams; a special longtime friend, Lucille Sisk; and numerous cousins, nephews and nieces including, Barbara Bush of Springtown, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and five siblings.
